So, I’m realizing that this is actually a pretty important panel:

“It is a DVD of one of your favorite series, THE THRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR.
It’s about a green threshecutioner cadet who sasses up the bluebloods in his flaysquad pretty good. Their blood is literally blue. Lousy snobs. But Troll Will Smith shows them all how to loosen up. He is pretty much your hero.”

A green-blooded troll. Interesting, because every single green-blooded troll we’ve had accounted for had a much more specific shade of green used to describe their blood (jade, olive, teal if you squint maybe). The text also identifies the blue-bloods specifically as snobs, meaning that their caste was clearly above whatever Troll Will Smith’s was on this show. Why wouldn’t they just identify him as olive or jade, then?
Maybe because the other term for a specific green-blooded caste was a slur? Maybe because his caste made him a pariah, making him a likely person for Karkat to identify with? Hrm? :P
Look at the text on the picture, and then look at what the narration says: Troll Will Smith’s “ability” was to get the higher castes - known for aggression, as we know - to relax.
That shade of green is troll lime blood. And it’s the same color we see when Karkat shoosh-paps Gamzee into submission (http://cincosechzehn.tumblr.com/post/42292935382).
It’s looking more and more likely, in my humble opinion, that the lime blood caste’s dangerous and threatening power to authority was the ability to placate anger and calm the higher castes.
I can’t help but wonder now if Karkat learned to shoosh pap from this show.

I want to see Troll Will Smith shooshpapping troll Uncle Phil

I wonder how many times I’ll have to post public requests for this not to be reblogged any more because of threats and insults directed at me as the OP
sigh

Here’s a serious advice. Even the nicest people have their limits. Don’t try to reach that point because the nicest people are also the scariest assholes when they’ve had enough.
